We are seeking a reliable Customer Service Representative to join our team. As the customer service representative, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, both in-person and over the phone. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct all walk-in customers to the appropriate area and provide assistance as needed. Answer all incoming phone calls in a professional and courteous manner, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Handle orders for the propane and bobtail departments, ensuring accurate entry and timely processing.
  • Communicate with drivers to schedule appointments and deliveries, maintaining an organized schedule for efficient operations.
  • Relay customer issues and concerns to drivers promptly, ensuring timely resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with filing statements at the end of each month, maintaining organized records for easy retrieval.
  • Collect payments from customers, accurately recording transactions and issuing receipts as needed.
  • Fill out incoming work orders for the service department, ensuring all necessary information is documented accurately.
  • Assist with credit checks and tank request forms for management, facilitating the necessary paperwork for customer accounts.
  • Process all paperwork for tanks, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Provide dispatch tickets to each driver and department managers, ensuring clear communication and coordination of tasks.

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for maintaining an organized warehouse, ensuring the accuracy of inventory, and supporting efficient warehouse operations. This role includes receiving and processing incoming stock, picking, and filling orders, and managing inventory levels to support the company’s fuel distribution operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Processing Stock:

  • Unload, inspect, and verify incoming shipments and accurately enter inventory data into the system.
  • Label and store items in designated locations.
  • Report any discrepancies or damages to the Warehouse Manager.

Order Fulfillment:

  • Pick and prepare orders for dispatch. Ensure orders are accurately filled and properly packaged.
  • Coordinate with the shipping team for timely delivery.

Inventory Management:

  • Conduct regular inventory counts and audits.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and monitor stock levels and report shortages or overages.

The Transport Fuel Truck Driver is a seasoned driver responsible for delivering fuel to customer destinations while providing exceptional customer service. This role ensures that all equipment is properly maintained, and maintains all records and reports required for DOT compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate company vehicles in accordance with Red Triangle regulations, and state and federal laws.
  • Receive daily route from Dispatcher.
  • Load truck according to established rack procedures.
  • Drive truck to deliver products to customers following established procedures.
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections, completing a Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR), and report any maintenance needs or mechanical problems to the Dispatcher.
  • Lift and carry long hoses for dispensing product at customer locations.
  • Collect signatures from customers.
  • Resolve service complaints or refer unresolved issues to the Dispatcher.
  • Maintain and clean the inside and outside of the truck.
  • Complete customer billing and other paperwork as directed by the Dispatcher.
  • Fill in for other drivers as needed.
  • Detect and avoid dangerous situations.
  • Report any off-site safety concerns to dispatch on a timely basis.
  • Complete all required documentation to account for time worked, locations, and products delivered, and record tank reading information to verify delivery.
  • Understand state and federal regulations concerning hours working and transporting hazardous materials and notify the Maintenance Department of potential violations.
  • Work cooperatively with co-workers, dispatchers, and supervisors.
  • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations. Stay informed and consistently review safety lifting policies and procedures.
  • Work in constantly changing environments, demonstrating flexibility in job duties while maintaining proper safety procedures.
  • Operate a semi-truck and/or truck and trailer according to applicable state and federal transportation laws.
  • Transport loads safely and in a timely manner over required routes, obeying all traffic laws and observing all safety regulations.
  • Maintain signed invoices and other required paperwork; deliver documentation to appropriate staff when the delivery route is complete.
  • Facilitate routine service on trucks, including checking oil, water, fuel, coolant, and air, report maintenance malfunctions to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Fuel heavy equipment and generators.
  • Load and off-load fuel products.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

 Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly required to use hands to, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.
  • Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl for fluctuating periods of time which could turn into extended periods of time. Tasks may require repetitive and alternating movements.
  • Occasionally required to climb or balance.
  • Be physically fit to properly lift as much as 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds when required during the course of your daily job.
